Chrissie McArthur

Chrissie was born and raised on Barra before moving to Oban to work. She later worked in Mauchline before she married and moved to Largs. Chrissie and her sisters were, and still are, regular visitors to the Royal National Mòd. She was an active member of the Largs Branch of An Comunn Gàidhealach and was on the committee for Mòd na Leargaidh Gallda in 2002. She was a member of the Choir from 1980 to 2000.

As well as being a steadfast supporter of the Choir she is also the provider of the best Clootie Dumplings anyone has ever tasted.
