About us

Our choir has members who have been with us from 1980, when we were set up as a mixed choir, to ladies who have joined in the last few years when we reformed as a ladies choir.

We have returned to practising in a large church hall in Largs. The hall is big enough to allow social distancing with good toilet facilities. We are complying with all Covid regulations as per Scottish Government guidelines.

We sing mainly Gaelic songs with the aim of competing in the annual Gaelic MOD, normally held in October, but also compete in one or two Provincial MODs during the year as well as a few other concerts.

We’re a small choir and a very sociable and friendly group who organise social events during the year. During lockdown we practised via Zoom with our conductor and even recorded a video!

If you’d like to join please get in touch, we’d love to have more like-minded people in our ranks, or have a look through our past events to get a sense of what we get up to.
